Aurora hunting & Ice fishing

Come try your luck ice fishing to see if you can catch yourself an appetizer for our restaurant! We’ll take a car to a nearby fell lake where you might catch trout and Arctic char. As night falls, we’ll journey through the forest by snowmobile and sled to our cozy hut. From here we climb on the fells. Top of the fells provides us with the best chances to witness the northern lights. This package includes two nights in your chosen accommodation option, along with the activities. It’s advisable to book this package 4 days in advance, but of course, we’ll try to book activities last-minute requests with a few days’ notice as well.

Ice Fishing

Experience the thrill of fishing on a frozen lake. Our experienced guides will show you how to drill the hole and land a catch.

Aurora hunting

Experience the magical Northern Lights on one of our expeditions. Our guides know the best spots for aurora hunting including a warm hut. We move through the fell forest to the hut, from where we climb with snowmobile and sleigh to the fell to observe the northern lights.

Our hotel rooms offer plush beds and refreshing air conditioning, ensuring a great night’s sleep after a long day of exploring. Chromecast is also available, so you can watch your favorite series on TV!

But if you’re looking for something a little more spacious, our apartments are the perfect solution. With a living room and kitchen, you’ll have plenty of space to stretch out and make yourself at home. Plus, each apartment has its own private entrance, so you can come and go as you please.

Our hotel rooms for two offer a bit of luxury for tourists coming to Karigasniemi. Roomy and intimate rooms have two 90 cm wide beds, a fair-sized table for working, and a flat screen TV. Prices include breakfast and sheets.
